Vertical Standards: Upright tubes featuring a fixed bottom cup (welded at 500mm intervals) and a movable top cup.
Horizontal Ledgers: Tubes with forged "blades" at each end that slot into the bottom cup.
Locking Mechanism: Once ledger blades are seated in the bottom cup, the top cup is slid down and rotated (usually a quarter-turn) with a hammer strike to lock them securely.
